Woof-woof…my name is Duke and I’m 1.5 years old…really just a pup! The Wonderful people at GR came to my rescue after my owner passed away. I didn’t know what was happening but I figured out quickly that my new life was going to be okay…and it turns out that it’s way better than okay. I have been getting so much love and attention that I have almost forgotten my troubles. I am also learning the rest of my commands that I didn’t know before and I think I’m doing pretty well. I have lots of energy, especially first thing in the morning when I wake up to ‘seize the day’. However, when all that playing work is done, I also love cuddling so I can also be an expert couch potato. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere and I love cuddling…in fact, I’m pretty sure I’m a lap dog. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me as long as you keep your counters tidy (tee-hee). I love people and other dogs and I’m just a big friendly lover boy. I’m curious about cats but not aggressive. My foster mom says I’m fantastic, loyal, and affectionate. I just need to finish my training so you’d have to be up for that. My life is play, eat, cuddle…repeat. I know I’m going to be your best friend in no time.
