Hi, Jasper here! I am almost a year old. When I first got to Golden Rescue, I was very timid, easily frightened and I must admit that I can still be nervous about unfamiliar things and noises. My foster Mom says I have come a long way in learning and gaining my confidence (that sure is a big word)! Speaking of big, I am 85 lbs and I can be a handful when out walking if I get startled so I also need a good, strong leash handler. I love spending time in the backyard playing with my toys and exploring and just enjoying being a Golden. I do have some allergies that require medication that cost a few bones, but I can pay it back with lots of cuddles and love. So if you have the patience to help me learn, we could become a great team!
