Hi everyone…my name is Wish. I’m an 11-year-old female and Milo is my 6-year-old brother. When GR brought us into the program, we were pretty disheveled, smelly, and in rough shape. It did not take long, with the help of our amazing foster family, to get well, bathed, groomed…and most importantly ‘wanted’. That was the best feeling of all. There’s nothing worse than that feeling of not being wanted. Obviously, we’re both Golden wannabes and but hey, a rose by any other name, right? We are what GR calls a ‘bonded pair’ because we have lived together since Milo was a pup so if you have space for both of us, that would be great. We are no problem…in fact we are very EASY. We love people, other dogs, and even cats are fine with us. We are good natured, loving, and don’t have an aggressive bone in our bodies. We’re pretty good on the leash and are also not bad with our commands. You can touch us anywhere although Milo isn’t big about being brushed. Loud noises don’t bother us and you can leave us alone if you have to go out without us. Milo is higher energy than me but then again, he’s younger, but I can still keep up with him so don’t worry. The doc says we’re both healthy although I do have some ear issues and itching but this new med that I’m on really helps. Here’s what our foster mom says about us: ”Milo is a delight and Wish is a doll. They are loving and affectionate and deserve a second chance at happiness.” That our wish for both of us…that and being together!
