Hi everyone, I am Koda and I am 1 year old girl. Now you would think at only a year old, I would be a happy go lucky puppy bursting with energy, but I had a pretty much protected life before coming into Golden Rescue so I have a lot to learn. I love exploring the garden where I feel safe, going on slow “sniffle” walks and just slowly learning about new things in this world. I was apprehensive about most things when I first came into foster care but my wonderful foster mom has helped me learn so much and get over so many fears but you still need to open doors wide open for me as I won’t push them open. I do need to lose a bit of weight; I might bark at strangers or sudden movements around me and I can help you in the garden by digging holes for you to put your plants in. What would my perfect home be? Somewhere I can roam freely and safely, cool floors for naps, a fenced garden with peaceful people where I can feel safe and get lots of love. Oh, and don’t forget the belly rubs!
