Hi everybody ~ my name is Buddy and I’m an 11-month-old pup. I’m really one big ball of puppy love who needs to learn all your human stuff. I am learning the leash thing and I’m getting better every day. I’m also working on something called ‘resource guarding’. Right now, if I have it, it’s mine. I realize that I need to learn the command ‘drop it’ but I’m not there yet. After all, I’m still a pup having too much fun, but worry not, I’m smart and I’ll get there if you have patience. It would, however, be best if there are no young children around for now. I love people and other dogs (don’t know about cats) and am an enthusiastic and boisterous player with my dog friends. I’m not a big barker. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me…so those are all good things, right? Also, the doc says I’m a healthy boy. Here’s what my amazing foster mom says about me: ”Buddy is a happy boy who loves to go on adventures. He is a really handsome, goofy boy who just need ongoing training. He missed early puppy training so he has some catching up to do and you need patience and a commitment to continued training to make him his best self.” Don’t worry folks, I’m up for the challenge!
