Hi everybody…my name is Cherry and this is my sister Shelby. We are both 3 years old and we are Goldens with perhaps a little Doodle in us. That might be good as we don’t shed much so you won’t have to use the vacuum cleaner quite as often (teehee). Actually, the vacuum doesn’t bother either of us or any loud noises for that matter. In our previous life, our mommy sadly passed away and our dad worked a lot, so we were used to being left alone. In fact, we had this self-feeding device and an in-and-out doggy door so we’ve learned to be quite self-sufficient. Having said that, we love human company and being made a fuss over as we are both real cuddlers. I think it’s safe to say that I am the boss and Shelby is okay with that…so we get along famously. Shelby loves her food and tends to be a gobbler at mealtimes. Me? I eat a lot slower and am not obsessed with food at all. We are very used to being in a big secure yard and haven’t had a lot of leash walking experience, so the leash thingy is definitely a work-in-progress. We have a well-deserved reputation for being escape artists (I think our last name might be Houdini) as we often will find ways to get over, under or through the fence. We’re not trying to run away from you and our recall is actually quite good ~ we just love our adventures and we’re curious about what might lie beyond our borders. The doc says we are very healthy and our wonderful foster mom describes us as “lovely sweet girls who are completely bonded to each other and almost move as one.” I think that’s true as we do love each other and we love our life on both sides of the fence (teehee).
