Hi everyone…my name is Tucker and I’m 3 years old. I often get called ‘Red’ because of my long flowing red hair. That name seems a little girly to me, so I have to admit, I prefer Tucker or Tux. I’ve always tried to be a good boy with my family and now that I am with my amazing foster family, they describe me as a ‘melting pot of love and affection’. Wow, those are pretty nice words and it does describe the fact that I love everyone, humans especially, but cats and dogs are also aces with me. I do have a lot of energy and I still, in all my excitement, pull on that leash thingy. So, GR thinks, at least for now, I shouldn’t go to a family with small children as my enthusiasm might be too much for them. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me. I’m not a big barker and even though I don’t love it when you leave home without me, I do settle eventually; however, I would do best in a home that’s not empty too much of the time. The doc says I’m one good looking healthy boy. I have to admit that I’m ball obsessed. I just love those round things. You will often find me sleeping on the floor with a ball in my mouth. Oops, gotta go. My mom just threw a basketball into the yard. Looks a little big, but worry not, I’ll wrestle it down (heehee).
