Hi everyone, my name is Willow and I’m a two-year- old girl. I was a Nervous Nelly when I first arrived in GR’s arms. I have calmed down a lot because everyone has been so kind to me, especially my amazing foster family. These days, I really only get anxious if I’m on my own, so having someone home most of the time would be ideal. Or, take me with you when you go out…I love the car and I’ll go anywhere with you! I do love people, other dogs, and even cats are fine with me. I am affectionate and will thrive in a calm environment so I would do very well in a quiet home where someone is home most of the time and is looking for a loving companion to share peace and quiet. A nice backyard that I could call my own would be a real plus and I’d be happy to share it with another calm, friendly dog. I know my commands quite well and my recall is good unless I’m on the scent of something and then I admit I get distracted. I am not a big barker and gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere and loud noises don’t bother me. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Willow is a gentle, soft-hearted soul who loves to be with her people. She enjoys meeting new people and loves to play.” Yes, I am a happy girl who is easily pleased and asks for very little. So, from My Fair Lady, here’s a wee song about how I feel:
“All I want is a room somewhere
