Hi everyone, my name is Abby and I’m a 6-year-old girl. When I was first rescued by GR, I was quite a mess. I had infections everywhere. I was losing my hair and was generally unhealthy. It didn’t take my amazing foster family long to fix all that stuff and now all my infections are gone, my fur has grown back, and I feel great. I am so incredibly grateful. Today, I’m really enjoying life. I love swimming, my walks, chasing toys, or just snuggling, laying by your feet or putting my head on your lap. I have as much energy as you want. If you’re active, I’m active. If you’re laid-back, then so am I. I love people and other dogs but when I first meet you or a new dog, I am a little cautious and it takes me a minute to warm up to new situations…then I’m fine. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and the doc says I’m a healthy girl now. Here’s what my foster dad says about me: ”Abby is a great girl. She is a little chatterbox but it never goes into barking…it’s so adorable. She is one of our most loved fosters to-date. She is a real keeper.” Ah shucks…you’re the best!
