Hi everyone, my name is Rosie and I’m 4 years old. I have been living my best life with my amazing foster family and they have been showing me the ropes. I think I’m doing pretty well and I’m getting the hang of things. That leash thing is still a work-in-progress but the rest of your human ways are fine with me. I love all you wonderful people and I try hard to please. I am enthusiastic and active so being around small children right now is probably not a good idea. I’m okay with other dogs but I do need more socialization so being the only dog in the house would also be ideal for now. I love my car rides and my walkies. I also love my toys but one of my favourite things is sunbathing. I just love basking in the sun ~ feeling all warm and fuzzy. I am a little cautious in new situations but once I know I’m safe, I settle just fine. I am not a big barker. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere although my paws are a bit sensitive. Loud noises get my attention, but I adjust quickly. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. Other than some pills I’m taking for a yeast infection, the doc says I’m a healthy girl. My foster mom describes me like this: ”Rosie is loving, loyal, gentle, joyful, affectionate, and eager to please.” Wow ~ that’s very high praise…thank you and thank Golden Rescue for all you have done for me. I can’t wait to see what my next chapter will be.
