Hi everyone, my name is Coco and this is my sister Zoey. I’m two years old and Zoey is five. Yes, even though I’m the younger one, I’m our spokesdog because I tend to look after Zoey because she is a bit of a Nervous Nelly. When we first met the good people at GR, she was really scared, shaking, and wondering what was going on. She is so much better now thanks to our amazing foster family, but she can still get anxious in new situations. We are used to being together…so we are a bonded pair or what you would call a ‘package deal’. We sleep together, rest together, follow each other from room to room, check in with each other throughout the day, and seek each other out for comfort and company. We do love each other and we also love other dogs.

I am more enthusiastic with other dogs than Zoey. She tends to be a little stand-offish until she gets to know them but neither one of us have an aggressive bone in our body. We also love cats ~ they’re fun to have around and we are both gentle with them. Now…my favourite subject…playing! I have to admit I am ball obsessed and could play fetch for hours. I also love swimming and running. I have more energy than Zoey; however, Zoey gets the prize for tail-chasing zoomies. We are both healthy girls according to the doc. Zoey isn’t a big barker as I am the family guard dog, so I bark more but that’s because it’s my job to protect the home. Our foster mom says we are ready to find our forever family and she says she is going to miss us terribly. Ah shucks…we love you too and thank you for taking such good care of us.
