Canada’s Dog Ban: Click here to find out how you can help.

Tuesday December 8, 2020

Event Time: 7:00 PM

Join us as we invite Roxie and Victoria (see below for some additional information about the presenters) from Tiny Green Paw to demonstrate how to make your very own doggy treats for your furbabies and their friends for the holidays!

Golden Apple Stars (cookies)
We will be making these cost-friendly cookies with easily-accessible ingredients that you may have in your pantry or will have no trouble finding.
The recipe we are doing will be with apples as our main flavour,  but we will also provide ingredient changes for different flavours ~ personalizing your treats and making them into training treats for all your favourite pups!

Just a little bit about the presenters:

Roxie Sparks ~ I have 22 years of experience in the animal care industry and spent years researching natural healing and nutrition in animals and humans. I also worked for an animal food and pet care company, specializing in natural nutrition and supporting ailments naturally. My other experience includes working as a kennel attendant in a semi-medical shelter setting.  Most of my furry feathery family are rescues with health and behavior issues and include 8 cats, 12 chickens, a mini donkey, and I also own a paint quarter horse.   I am passionate about animal well-being and care.

Victoria Read ~ My love for all animals started with dogs and then grew… quickly. Born and raised in the Belleville area, I ventured to Kingston to take the Veterinary Assistant course at St Lawrence College I have also completed the pet first aid course. I have rescued or adopted the majority of my furry/ hooved family. We came up with the name Tiny Green Paw in memory of my first Jack Russell “Tiny”. The reason we took off into this business venture is because of our own animals have health restrictions/ allergies and we wanted to guarantee that what we were putting into our pets’ body would be good for them and tasty too!
