Did you know that smell is one of the first senses that your dog is born with? We know that dogs know how to “scent”, and some are more motivated than others, but wouldn’t it be a fun activity to do with our Goldens?
| Scent work is designed to be a “thoughtful” activity for your Golden, and can help with highly aroused dogs that have excess energy ~ in other words, it can help calm them down. Join us for this Beginners’ Level 1 Scent Work Class presented by Sylvia Koczerzuk from Walkabout Canine Consulting. We will break down the core components for you to learn about your dog’s world of scent, so in the end we will have a dog looking for the scent. This can be done inside the house to start, then a game to take outside into your backyard, and even take it to parks!IMPORTANT – SPACE IN THIS EVENT IS EXTREMELY LIMITED, WE CAN ONLY OFFER TWENTY (20) SPOTS This is a three week online interactive workshop where will start with the basics. The steps will be broken down into three small sections to allow for your success ~ a whole workshop would be very hard on your Golden. You will be working with Sylvia “live” on Zoom with your Golden in “real time”! |
