Hermes is a gentle, sweet, loving creature, that just is the happiest when he is within a foot or two of “She Who Does The Feeding”. Imagine a 70 pound lap dog. That would be Hermes. Always at my feet when I spend hours in the kitchen doing food prep or cooking; next to me on the couch when I read or watch TV; huddled next to the dining room table when we eat. He knows enough that he will not get fed from the table but he just has to be close to either one of us….night or day…whatever the activity.
