Parker #0750

Gender: male

Status: adopted

Parker (formerly Dudley rescue #750) came to us in January of 2007. He is a male eighteen-month-old jam-packed with love and energy! He joins our family of three, my husband Jason and I and our four-year-old Golden, Carley. It was a big change at first when he came into our lives. His playful, bouncy, lively, energetic individuality was a big change from our calm day-to-day schedule. We used to have a nice quiet morning and come home to a quiet evening with our Golden, Carley. What a change now. As soon at my alarm goes off in the morning, I have a big slobbery face wanting to be touched and hugged. He slams his paws in my face as if to say, “Come on, come on, let’s go! ” He leaps off our back deck into the yard in full flight to do his morning business! Heaven forbid we leave any kind of food on the counter or it’s gone. He has taught us that food needs to be put into dog-proof cupboards and drawers. He parades around the house with anything he can get in his mouth. When I come home from work at the end of the day, he greets me with wiggles and drools as if it has been years since he’s seen me. We love our new addition. He brings new light to our home. Soon I will be taking him to obedience where I know he will shine. He is an excellent listener and has great eye contact. Maybe a champion in agility… we will see. For now I enjoy spending every free second with both Goldens. I would like to thank Golden Rescue for placing Parker with us in his forever home. He is truly loved by us and our extended family and we look forward to a long and healthy life with him.
