Cassie #0812

Gender: female

Status: adopted

Six months already! I made plans to get introduced to Cassie after work last July 24, 2007. Her foster family ~ an amazing couple ~ had done a fantastic job of making her feel part of a family and home in just two short months. I instantly fell in love with her! After discussion and a walk alone with her, it was decided that I would adopt her and take her home. Seven-year-old Cassie is my fifth Golden, my second Golden Rescue, and my third adoption. She has adapted very well to her new home and even slept right through the night that very first night. Since then, she has discovered the total joy of regular walks, a home to guard, windows to watch out, hikes in the local provincial park, and abundant affection. She loves everyone and all the dog lovers fall in love with her. She is the little town flirt… she can make a man stop to acknowledge her by just by sitting quietly and totally staring at him. Because of Cassie my house is a home again. It’s a joy to be greeted by her, to spend time with her and to love her.
