Lexi #0898

Gender: female

Status: adopted

Lexi came into our lives on December 7, 2007 and it was love at first sight for all of us. We were heartbroken at the time ~ we had lost our beautiful Sydney, Rescue 326, to cancer only three weeks earlier, but Lexi carried us through those dark, grieving days with her zest for life. When she first came to share our home, Lexi was a little timid and overweight, but she had been left alone for long periods every day at her previous home and wasn’t getting much exercise. We are both retired and spend almost all day, every day, with her. With good food and exercise three times a day, she has slimmed and her muscles have toned very nicely. We have an entrance into a very large park from our backyard and she just loves her daily walks, chasing balls, and retrieving sticks. She also gets really excited going for car rides to different parks. Lexi is such a happy girl, and her happiness is contagious. We feel very fortunate to share a forever home with such a loving and enthusiastic companion. Thank you Golden Rescue for such a wonderful gift of love.
