On May 2nd, 2008 we were fortunate to have Bentley choose us as his Forever Home. Having lost our beloved Danny-Boy March 15th, we were still grieving our loss with hopes that the arrival of a new boy would perk up Sophie, our other Golden, who was very depressed.
Did we ever get the right solution! This 4 ½ year old 85lb Dynamo came to us, tail wagging and full of love, mischief and adventure. He is extremely attentive, seeks lots of attention [which we willingly give] and a handsome boy who has added joy back into our lives.
We learned from Bentley that you can never replace a much loved family member, but no time is “too soon” to begin to heal with the help of a friendly paw. We still have a lot of love to give and there are “Bentley’s” out there who can give and receive it.
Thank you our little buddy, for holding our hands and putting a spring back in our steps. We shall love you forever-that is our promise to you. You are truly “Love in a little fur coat”.
