#1579 Gabrielle

Gabrielle Rescue no. 1579 goes to school. Last year Gabrielle qualified for the local Storydog program which helps children struggling with reading. It has been proven that children find it easier to read aloud to dogs which in turn gives them confidence in their reading ability. In 2011 Gabrielle assisted two children but this year she is helping two classes at an elementary school. She volunteers one afternoon a week listening to stories, sometimes she is so engrossed that she has to close her eyes to concentrate, well she is 10 plus years.

She is a great ambassador for Golden Rescue and originally coming from Quebec, the children get a kick out of giving her French commands.
