We lost our dog, Rusty, in April 2011. My husband insisted that we wait one year before adopting another dog. Well, as fate would have it, our paths crossed and Kato came into our lives in September 2011. Kato was 15 months old when we adopted him and we are his fifth home. Needless to say, he wasn’t too sure for the longest time if he was actually in his forever home or not. He has been with us for six months now and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience having him – he just makes us laugh so much at his little quirks and his silly antics. He puts a smile on our face every single day. I love watching his true personality coming out, as he realizes he is home and he is safe.
Kato is incredibly bonded with my husband and my husband with him. They are best friends. Kato has brought so much happiness to our lives and he is definitely home to stay. Our house is now a home again. Thank you to Golden Rescue for bringing him into our lives.
