Austin #1804

Gender: male

Status: adopted

Austin, a stray, was found in the northern Ontario area by the local Humane Society and then into the hands of Golden Rescue. His foster family lives just south of Barrie. What is better, than to be able to live in a house, like so many foster homes, full of love, human family and of course, other Goldens!

John and I were so blessed to be chosen by Austin to be his” furever “family. He came into our lives in January of this year. What a wonderful birthday present for John.

Austin now lives with 2 cats, Guinness and Romeo and of course his human parents. Austin has settled down so well and melded into our family. We have encountered a few separation issues and we are now working with a dog trainer to help him with leadership issues.

I am so thankful that we were considered to be family to Austin. He is a great “cuddler” and when he looks at you with those big brown eyes, your heart just melts. He has become our faithful companion.
