Dougie has settled in nicely to life with our family. It’s only been two weeks but he has certainly made himeself at home and captured our hearts. We say that he is the real-life version of Dug from the movie “Up” (“I have just met you and I love you!”). That’s pretty much his approach to any person that he meets. He absolutely loves his walks and we think he is already looking a bit slimmer. He enjoys just hanging out with his kids and is always close to his fur-sister Gracie. Dougie has some very endearing traits. One of our favourites is how he comes up, sits and offers a paw when he wants some cuddling. Who can resist? He worked this trick this past weekend at a Golden Rescue event and enjoyed his debut as an ambassador. We are so delighted with our new boy and thank Golden Rescue for allowing us to be Dougie’s fur-ever home.
