Fiona has come a long way since we adopted her after her long trip from Istanbul. Her personality is starting to shine through and we are finding she is extremely affectionate, willing to play with other dogs, and simply a joy to have around. She has a funny habit of stamping both front legs when she meets a new dog. She will also rub her butt against any hard surface to tell you she wants you to pet or scratch her. She is a canine hoover at meal times and thinks she is a tiny lap dog when she cuddles on the couch. She still needs some leash training but that will come in time. We are so thrilled to see GR continuing their efforts to save more Goldens from Istanbul. They are all amazing creatures who deserve a second chance.
