Kipling is a young Istanbul Golden. He is a wonderful, goofy, social, pleasure-to-be-around Golden. He is healing beautifully as he came to Canada severely undernourished with body sores and a low blood count, all of which are starting to improve with a proper, regular diet nourished with lots of love and tender loving care. This amazing boy has stolen our hearts and he loves everyone he meets, including other dogs. He even enjoys meeting cats. He loves it when people read to him and he particularly loves this passage for some strange reason:
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you…
Who knows why he likes that so much but he certainly has good taste. Picking up Kipling at the airport was an experience we will never forget ~ no question one of the best days of our lives.
