Sherman #2518

Gender: male

Status: adopted

When Sherman arrived from Istanbul, he was skinny and full of fleas but he still had a bounce in his step when he got out of the crate. He was thought to be around two years of age but our vets think he is much younger, closer to one.

Once this boy was cleaned up and gained weight, he simply blossomed…so much so that he’s Mr. February in the 2018 calendar. He was already house and leash trained and this smart boy was a bit nippy with other dogs but that has totally diminished. What a wonderful smart boy he is. He is quiet and sweet and adores people, children, cats, and birds and he even swims beside ducks and geese ignoring them completely. Speaking of swimming, that is his most favourite thing. He will stay in as long as you let him and a cookie won’t even entice him out of the water until he’s ready to come on his own. He is quite a ladies man with a harem of girlfriends who seem to love our Turkish Treasure. We are so grateful to Golden Rescue for giving this lovely boy a second chance.
