Cody #2772

Gender: male

Status: Adopted

Cody came to his new forever family overweight but is losing those unwanted pounds beautifully.  He happily goes to work with me every day and sits by the dock on Lake Simcoe supervising and making sure everything is running smoothly.  Cody is getting to know everyone along the shore ~ humans, canines and felines alike.  He gets along with everyone and everyone loves him.  What a joy he is!

The Next Chapter…..Cody developed a limp this winter from a torn ligament but, because of his age, an operation wasn’t in the cards. He was given a leg harness, which was quite a wrestling match to begin with but now this superstar has adapted well to it and it really helps. His weight is also good so for now, all is well in Cody-land. He is such a great boy.

The Story Continues…..When Cody first entered the GR program, he was a chunky monkey at 107 lbs, so the first order of business was to get his weight down, which happened, as he is now a healthy and fit 88 lbs. He used to wear a fitted brace to combat a torn ligament but the brace is no longer needed. Cody is a handsome, happy boy.  He is my best friend and I love him very much…and I know the feeling’s mutual.
