Sweet Cairo, named after her birth home, arrived in Canada with a number of medical problems. With the help of her amazing Canadian vet, she came around beautifully and is now a healthy girl. Shy at first, and not much of a smiler and cuddler, Cairo took her time to assimilate to our Canadian ways. In time, however, our girl turned into a beautiful, smart, sweet, smiling cuddler. She has put on some much-needed weight, in fact, maybe a pound or two too many. She loves to swim, loves all humans, and loves her new Canadian sister Rosey #1728. I don’t know that this little sweetie would have survived without Golden Rescue and we are so fortunate to be chosen to adopt her.
