Diego is a small but mighty transplanted Golden from Mexico. This young boy lived in several homes in Mexico before flying to Canada but he is finally starting to understand that his forever home is with me…and that he’s safe and loved. I simply adore him and Diego feels the same way about me. He is afraid of the dark and doesn’t love the snow but I’m cutting our little amigo some slack. His feline cousin, Roxy, is a bit jealous of Diego but they’re working it out. Coming from the streets, he knows how to look after himself and although he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he will stand his own ground with a dog twice his size. He is definitely not a push-over ~ he’s a lover, not a fighter.
