Molly came to Canada from Cairo and it took three tries for this beautiful girl to actually get here. The first time the flight was overbooked and she was bumped. She was rescheduled and, believe it or not, her crate was damaged and she was bumped again. Each time, we drove to the Toronto airport from Elliot Lake to meet her and we had to go home empty-handed. Three times a charm but I had to go to the hospital so GR volunteers met and transported her to Elliot Lake, where she is having the time of her life. She did have to get used to the cold and that crazy stuff called ‘snow’. Today, Molly is a happy, acclimatized Canuck bringing joy to us and everyone she meets. Don’t you just love a happy ending?
