When Tanner and I met on that snowy November night last year, he settled immediately into the back seat of my car as if he knew this was home and he was safe. Shortly after his arrival, he required eye surgery which went exceptionally well and he was a real trooper. He is a lovely, smart, eager-to-please, quiet soul and I love him to bits. Ours is a remarkable journey of trust, hope, patience, and joy. Thank you for bringing Tanner and I together as we look forward to many adventures together.
