Rio was rescued from a terrible life in Cairo but if you ask us, Rio rescued us. His name when he arrived was Cupid, which is fitting because he brought so much love to our family. Our two daughters are in therapy to help with anxiety and ADHD and we all believe that Rio is the best therapy of all. He is the most beautiful, calm, loving Golden we have ever known. Initially he was not great with other dogs, but has learned that dogs who are on the other side of the street are okay. Our 82-year-old parents, who live with us, also love this boy and Rio loves them right back.
