Another Cairo boy, Elmo, has assimilated to Canadian life beautifully and even loves the snow. His command of the English language is very good ~ sometimes too good. His neighbour, Danny, is a Lab also from Cairo and these two have become very close friends and play together almost daily. Elmo epitomizes his name ~ goofy and carefree. He loves car rides with the window open so he can stick his head out and feel the wind in his fur. And of course, chasing squirrels is a regular daily pastime that keeps him fit and entertained. He had anxiety when he arrived, which is understandable as his whole world turned upside down, but he now feels secure and loved.
