Bentley arrived from Cairo and quickly melted our hearts. We had previously rescued Charlie #2675 from Istanbul four years ago and he is much older and more laid-back than Bentley. It took Bentley a little while to understand that Charlie needed space but today these boys get along beautifully ~ and they eat together and walk together…two international buddies enjoying Canadian life. The thing we love most about Bentley is how quickly he became affectionate and trusting towards us. It makes us feel so good and underscores what a two-way street rescue is as far as who rescued who? We are so grateful to all the volunteers and supporters who make the Rescue Mission of Love possible and for bringing wonderful Bentley into our lives.
