When my last Golden crossed the Rainbow Bridge suddenly in 2020, I knew my life would always suffer her loss. She was only eight and in good health and when she died of a heart attack right in front of me, I wondered if I could ever love again. I put my name on waitlists but I really didn’t want a puppy. Lucky for me, GR reviewed my adoption application and suggested an Istanbul Golden, Penny, who was flying to Vancouver. Penny came into my life in January and she is the perfect girl for me. She is spreading the message of rescue to everyone she meets…and what a spokes-girl she is ~ loved by everyone she meets.
