Hi everyone…my name is Sophie and I’m 5 years old. I am currently living with my amazing foster/guru dad, who is teaching me a LOT. I’m doing pretty well but so much is new to me that my training would will have to be continued when I join your family. Don’t worry though…I’m told I am smart and have already figured out a lot of stuff like ‘drop it’. I absolutely love all you humans ~ you are the best! I’m just not that great with other dogs so a home with no dogs or cats and a big fenced backyard where I could happily burn off some energy, would be ideal. I am an energetic girl because I love life, my humans, my toys, and my treats. I particularly love playing chase in the backyard ~ it’s probably my favourite thing. Once I get to know you, you can touch me anywhere. I used to have possession issues but I have learned ‘drop it’ so I’m good now. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me and I’m learning that loud noises are okay. The doc says, other than dirty ears at times, I’m a healthy girl. My foster dad says I’m a sweet, happy, playful girl who would be perfect as the only dog in the house and be fine simply getting my exercise in a big backyard rather than going for walks where I might encounter other dogs. I am getting better with other dogs but I still have a long way to go. Could you be the one to help me and cuddle with me?
