Hi everyone…my name is Casper and I’m a one-year-old boy. Did you know that my name originated from Persian and it means ‘treasure bearer’? Isn’t that a lovely sentiment? When I first came into the program, I was pretty nervous, confused, and on-edge. It didn’t take me long though to understand that my foster family really cares about me ~ and I feel like a different boy these days. I can still get a little nervous in new situations but I recover quickly. I am 100% a lover, not a fighter. I love humans, canines, and, believe it or not, I’m even fond of felines. Fond of Felines…that sounds like a great movie title, doesn’t it? Everyone has equal opportunity with my love. I know all your human commands and even my leash prowess is improving. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. And, the doc thinks I’m a really healthy dude. I love to play and have lots of energy. I can also just hang out with you if you’re having a lazy day. Hey, I’m flexible because it is important to me that I please you. My adorable foster mom describes me as “a special boy who is very loving, smart, and an absolute pleasure to be with.” Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure. I hope I can wiggle into your heart!
