Hi everybody…my name is Eddie and I’m a 3-year-old boy. I certainly look and act like a Golden but my friends at GR think I have something else in me because I’m pretty big (around 105 lbs). I may be big but I’m a total mush-ball. I love all people including children but because of my size, it might be best not to have little kids around. I would never hurt them but I might bowl them over with affection. I’m a huge fan of other dogs; however, with some I can be a bit timid and with others I may play a bit too rough (I think you folks call it ‘throwing my weight around’). I’ve only seen one cat and I didn’t really react so I might be okay with cats but we don’t really know. My amazing foster family is showing me the ropes and I’m doing really well. I’m even getting the hang of that leash thing if you use a harness. I am not a crazy barker although I do bark at times…but I consider this as doing my job. You can touch me anywhere. You can leave me alone if you have to go out without me, although I will bark and whine for a little while. I love walks and car rides and I REALLY love swimming. I also love all my toys…especially my bears and my soccer ball. I went to the doc the other day and she gave me 100% on my test…pretty good, eh? My lovely foster mom describes me as “a big, goofy, loveable boy who only wants to be loved and to be with his family.” Yep, that’s me in a nut-shell. But, I have to admit there’s no way I’d fit into any nut-shell (hee-hee).
