Hi everyone, my name is Bambi and I’m a 10-month-old pup. And I’m a female just in case my name didn’t give that away. It would be pretty weird to call a male Bambi, right? Golden Rescue took me into their program and got me all fixed up. I needed some surgery on a broken leg and I needed to be spayed so both were done at the same time. That’s all behind me now and I’m healing nicely and feel great. The doc is pleased with my progress and I’m already running around and I even did the stairs yesterday. Pretty good, right? I am currently living with my amazing foster family and am one happy girl. I have lots of puppy energy but I also love being made a fuss over and being close to my humans. I have learned a lot of my commands and am actually really good on the leash. I still have more to learn but don’t worry, I’m smart and eager to please. I do love people, other dogs, and life in general. Maybe my favourite thing is playing fetch. I prefer the game using a stick so no need for expensive toys ~ a stick will do just fine! I am not a big barker. Loud noises don’t bother me. I’m exhibiting a little separation anxiety but if you plan to go out for a while without me, make sure you puppy-proof everything as I get into things…if you know what I mean. Here’s how my fantastic foster parents describe me, “Bambi is a loving sweetheart who just wants love and to love. She also likes to learn and does well with consistent training”.
