Hi everyone…my name is Shans and I’m a male Golden around 5 years old. With me is my brother Floki, who is obviously not a Golden nor a blood-brother. He is a Setter and he’s around 2.5 years old. We are what you call a ‘bonded pair’ so Golden Rescue has fortunately decided to take us both and we want to find a family where we can go together. As much as we love each other, we would be a bit jealous if another dog lived with us so it would be best we were the only dogs in the family. We get along well with other dogs so don’t worry about that but Floki doesn’t like it if a dog gets too in-his-face, if you know what I mean. We both love all humans; however, I love my toys and can be really enthusiastic around them so it’s best that there are no small children in the home. And even though Floki is younger than me, he’s much quieter and more submissive. I’m not the least bit aggressive ~ I’m just super exuberant and playful. We have both been described by our amazing foster mom as real sweethearts so that makes us feel all warm and squishy. We are both trained in your world and only have one little flaw each. I hate fireworks and thunder and Floki is a big jumper who could actually clear a 5-foot fence. There’s nothing you can do for my fireworks issue but a high, secure fence for Floki would be critical (actually for me too as I might bolt during fireworks or thunder). Everything else about us is really trouble-free including a clean bill of health from the doc. If you’re looking for two loving boys who know their way around your human world and love everything it has to offer, maybe we’re the ones for you. All eight paws are crossed!
