Hi everyone…my name is Pudding and I’m 6 years old. When I first arrived, I was a nervous wreck. I was shaking in the car and when we arrived at my foster’s home, I didn’t know what to do. It didn’t take me too long to figure out that everyone was kind and only wanted the best for me. There were other dogs in the home who also made me nervous and I was afraid of them so I snarled and snapped…all fear based. These days, I have calmed down a lot. I love my foster mom and all people in general. I’m still nervous or aloof around new dogs but I’m getting better at doggie socialization every day. Mostly I just don’t pay attention to them so I’d be best in a home with no other dogs and I think dog parks would not be good for me. I still get a little nervous in new situations but I come around much more quickly now as I become more confident and secure. I pretty much know all your human ways so I don’t need much more training although I still could use some work on the leash thingy. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. The doc says I’m a healthy girl. I’m a pretty active girl who loves my walks and running crazy in the backyard or playing fetch. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Pudding is so easy to fall in love with ~ she’s just a sweet, gentle soul who wants to please.” I would agree with her and you know what they say ~ the proof is in the pudding (tee-hee).
