I know…I know…I’m as far away from being a Golden as is possible. So, what on earth am I doing on the Golden Rescue website? Well, here’s my story. My long-time Golden companion, Rosie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge shortly after the kind people at GR took us into their program. Poor Rosie! I miss her so much; however, my foster family has another dog who I love being with so I’m okay. Let’s look at the positives, shall we? Unlike a Golden, I take up very little space. After all, I only weigh 10 pounds, so I’ll hardly take up any room in your home. I am 8 years old so I’m very familiar with your human ways so I need little to no training. I love people and other dogs and I’m very easy to be around because I’m basically an expert with the 3 C’s ~ Calm, Cute, and Cuddly. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can certainly touch me anywhere. You can leave me alone if you have to out without me and the doc says I’m a healthy boy except I could use some teeth cleaning (I just can’t seem to get the hang of using a toothbrush). I am pretty laid-back but can muster some good energy if you are active. Couch potato, walkies or zoomies in the backyard ~ I’m fine with it all! Well, that’s my story! Like you, I am a big fan of Goldens, so if you happen to have one, I would fit in perfectly. If you don’t and want a loyal, small companion to share your life with, I’d be fine with that too!
