Hi everyone…my name is Marley and I’m a 3-year-old boy. Before I met the wonderful people at GR, my life wasn’t ideal. I spent around 10 hours a day in a crate and didn’t get much affection or training. This has left me very overweight. My amazing foster mom has put me on a strict diet/exercise program and I’ve already lost five pounds. I am also learning my commands and already know ‘sit’ and ‘come’ although my new mom says I only listen when I feel like it. I guess that’s true although treats certainly improve my listening skills (heehee). I am also learning that leash thingy and do better when I have a harness as I’m very strong so you’ll have to be careful walking me. I do love my walks and exercise and I especially love playing with other dogs. I absolutely adore people and dogs and I’m even fine with cats. The doc says I’m a healthy boy and once I’ve lost the required amount of weight, I will be fit as a fiddle. I am not a big barker. Loud noises don’t bother me. I am learning to be alone if you go out without me but please don’t put me in a crate. It would be even better if you could take me with you because I especially love, love, love the car. I do love my new life and I have to admit I crave affection. I do like to be alpha but I am not aggressive in any way, just a bit stubborn from time to time. I’m a sucker for a good cuddle or a good treat so I guess you can say I can be bribed (heehee).
