Hi everybody…my name is Jordie and I’m an 8.5-year-old boy. I was a bit nervous when I first came to Golden Rescue, but it sure didn’t take me long to settle with my lovely foster family. I do love my new life and couldn’t be happier. I love all people, all children, and all of my canine friends. I’m a lover and I don’t have a mean bone in my body. Everyone has been so kind to me I just want to pay them back with love and gratitude. I try to be well-behaved because I don’t want to be a bother. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. I am not a big barker and once I get comfortable, you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. I have a bit of a dry coat so I am getting some coconut oil in my food but other than that, the doc says I’m one healthy boy. My only not-so-good quality is that I pull on the leash and I’m pretty strong. Here’s what my amazing foster mom says about me: “Jordie is the friendliest boy you will ever meet. He is easy-going, adaptive, and good with people and dogs (cats are unknown). He will be in whatever room you are in and if you’re away, he’ll be waiting at the door for you to come home.” Oh…one more thing ~ my nickname is Sir Drool-a-lot. I have no idea why (heehee)!

Jordie is currently being fostered North of Barrie, ON area.  If you would like more information about Jordie please call our hot-line toll-free at 1-866-712-8444 or email adoption@goldenrescue.ca and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
