Joan with Woody #1556 and Brody

Joan and John are long-time supporters of Golden Rescue. After losing two of their four Goldens after almost 13 years, the household got a bit quiet, despite still having three cats and a horse.  So, Joan and John decided to foster and they have taken on a couple of special needs Goldens as well.

“We are so impressed with the ethical standards and professionalism of this organization and the tireless dedication of its many volunteers. It’s a real pleasure to work with them and, of course, for the dogs.”

Joan and John live in Cobourg and almost ten of their eighteen acres have invisible fencing. There are fields and woodland trails where they take their foster dogs…rain or shine. Truly warm and caring people!
