Kelly Gill
Kelly and her family have been long term animal lovers and contributors to animal welfare causes. Like many of us, Kelly and her family know the pain of loss. When they adopted their beautiful Golden girl, Blondie #2079, she helped fill the hole in their hearts and home when they lost Mia, their first Golden. Blondie also gave them their introduction to Golden Rescue. With Kelly and David’s twin daughters getting older, the family thought it was time to get actively involved in rescue as the girls were old enough to help and to understand the importance of rescue.
The family started volunteering and have helped in so many ways including transporting our precious cargo, doing home visits and behaviour evaluations, volunteering at events, and making gift bags for the Istanbul Goldens. Blondie has brought so much joy to Kelly and her family and they want to bring joy to other Goldens.
Thank you Blondie for being such a great ambassador for Golden Rescue and thank you Kelly, David, Sydney, and Emma for truly being Golden angels.
