Kimberley Mack
Kimberley is a professional caregiver. Even has a child, she used to bring home injured and stray animals. As an RN, she worked in healthcare (ER and ICU) for 20+ years and now teaches nursing. She has always loved animals and her first dog was a German shepherd, Maggie, that she adopted from the Humane Society. She and Maggie shared their lives for over 14 years and near the end of Maggie’s life, Kimberley was at a canine wellness centre where she was introduced to the good work that Golden Rescue does.
With a real interest in special needs dogs, she joined the GR foster team and has fostered six Goldens…several of them with special needs. Kimberley`s own home crew includes all rescues ~ three Goldens, Earl and Sweetie Marley, a eight-year-old Shizu poodle Foster, and three cats. When she is not looking after her own brood or helping GR, Kimberley is renovating her beloved century home, reading or playing/walking with her pack.
Kimberley is a true rescue angel and GR is lucky to have such a caring person in our corner!
