Canada’s Dog Ban: Click here to find out how you can help.

One day some years ago, friends visited Nancy’s cottage and brought their Golden. Nancy had not grown up with dogs but instantly fell in love with her beautiful Golden visitor. After this visit and before they knew anything about rescue groups, Nancy and her husband, Mark, got their first Golden puppy Mia. Mia brought so much joy into their lives that they soon were looking for a companion for their new family member. This is when they became aware of Golden Rescue. Nancy, Mark, Mia, and their two rescue cats, Lilly and Willow, now actively foster. They both also transport, do home visits, and volunteer at events. Bitten with the Golden bug, Nancy answered a call for help in The Guardian for assistance with the website and eblasts…an area in which Nancy was very familiar. Eblasts are a major form of communication for us and thanks to Nancy’s talent and keen creative eye, they are now beautifully constructed and professional. The eblast calendar Nancy set up keeps the event team on track so that information goes out in a timely manner. On top of all that, Nancy and Mark also sold a whopping 100 calendars last year. Nancy’s passion for and love for Goldens has been a blessing…how could we be so lucky to have such a fantastic advocate for Golden Rescue!
