Nancy Boggis
After her daughter moved out and got married, Nancy was looking for something worthwhile to occupy some of her new-found time. She was already busy with her volunteer work with CNIB and her guide dog training but started doing research to find an altruistic organization that centered around dogs and, lucky for us, she found Golden Rescue. Nancy started on the placement team handling communications and also worked on the foster onboarding team. If that wasn’t enough, she joined the product sourcing team for the new online store. Nancy has rescued many dogs in her life and loves to hear the success stories from GR adopters. She can’t count how many times she has seen one of our Goldens and wanted to scoop them up. Her resolve is constantly tested. Nancy finds the work very rewarding and is amazed at the number of dedicated volunteers Golden Rescue attracts.
