Anastassia Duncan
Anastassia and her husband, Chris, have been volunteering with Golden Rescue since 2016. They have always been Golden lovers and their first Golden, Sundae, is a therapy dog who helps children and dementia patients. Last April they adopted Ruby #3333 from Cairo, who arrived as a weak, small, fearful puppy and is now a beautiful and confident Canadian who brings happiness to her family every single day. Anastassia and Chris help in many areas such as events (Pickering Markets, LCBO tag days, Bala Cranberry Festival, and Pet Expo), fostering, conducting home visits, and helping with the auction. Anastassia is a key member of the Social Media Team and generously shares her many talents by creating dynamic content for our Facebook and Instagram stories. Her style is unique, creative, and fun, which has helped us reach a broader audience on these platforms. What is really exciting is that Anastassia and Chris are moving to Vancouver and plans are in place to help open up the B.C. market for Golden Rescue. While we will miss them here, it is very exciting for us and we couldn’t find more passionate ambassadors to take on this challenge.
