Bruce has been a lifelong animal lover. He first came in contact with Golden Rescue after his beloved Golden, Dana, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Bruce and his wife weren’t ready to adopt another but started to foster with us, which helped fill the hole that Dana left. Since then, they have been wonderful GR supporters, fostering, transporting, and greeting international flights ~ passenger and cargo. Bruce says his favourite moments are when a cargo plane comes in with 40 new Canadian Goldens. He describes it as an“amazing spiritual experience”. Currently, they are fostering Molly#4424, a sad girl who arrived emaciated and terrified, but has come around and is now happy and loved. They nursed her back to health and safety and she’s just about ready to meet her forever family. Well done…you’re simply the best!
